Public organizations, in the performance of their functions and in response to the responsibility they have assumed towards society, must strive to ensure information transparency, an issue that is just as critical, if not more so, than in private companies. The public, as the ultimate owner of public organizations, is entitled to demand their efficient management, backed by the existence of clear and publicly accessible procedures and corporate structures, and by the dissemination of truthful and reliable information.
Transparency, as one of the operating principles of the Basque Public Administration in its relationship with society, requires that the information made available to it be of the highest quality, that is, that it be truthful, clear, coherent, timely, materially relevant, structured, concise, understandable, complete, secure, easily accessible, multichannel, comparable, multiformat, interoperable and reusable under the terms established by law.
The principle of transparency requires that the Basque Public Administration publishes periodically and updated information whose knowledge is relevant to ensure the transparency of its activity related to the operation, control and collaboration of citizens in its public action. In addition, such information must be accessible in the corresponding electronic offices or web pages of the public entities.
And the principle of active publicity is understood as the commitment of the Basque Public Administration to publish periodically and updated, and in a way that is comprehensible to citizens, relevant information regarding its operation as a means to promote communicative interaction.
In order to comply with all this, BIC ARABA has developed this TRANSPARENCY PORTAL.
In this section, BIC Araba publishes information that allows the public to know its organization chart, head office and delegations, Mission, Vision and Values, Company Bylaws, Corporate Purpose, Board of Directors: composition and Regulations, Corporate Governance and Responsibility Reports, Composition of the Works Committee, updated list of jobs, functions and corresponding remuneration, among others.
This includes information on its annual Management Plan and its fulfillment, the different Customer and Supplier Satisfaction Reports, as well as any other document that is prepared and that provides information on the evaluation of its activity.

In this regard, BIC Araba publishes the regulations in force applicable within the scope of its competences, as well as any other guidelines or instructions that may affect it.
