BIC Araba at S4i – Science for Industry, driving open innovation
This week we were present at S4i – Science for Industry, one of the leading events in knowledge transfer, applied science, and innovation, reinforcing our commitment to fostering entrepreneurial talent and strengthening the connection between science, technology, and industry.
During the event, BIC Araba took part in the ANCES Open Innovation roundtable, a dialogue space focused on collaboration between startups, companies, and ecosystem stakeholders to generate innovative solutions with real impact.
“ANCES Open Innovation is a tangible and realistic program that facilitates meetings between agents called to collaborate: large established companies and young technology-based companies.” These were the words of Cristina Fanjul Alonso, President of ANCES, at S4i | Science for Industry in Madrid. In the ANCES-organized roundtable, our colleague Izaskun Ruiz de Apodaca, BIC Araba technician, and Idoia Lizarraga Zubeldia, CEO of VORS CONTROL, also took part.

In addition, we supported two startups from our ecosystem: Statai Solutions, accompanied by its CEO Cristian Napole, and AidTec Solutions, represented by Daniel Teso and Izaskun Orive, who also had the opportunity to present her pitch, showcasing her technological proposal and the potential of her solution to the audience.
Our participation in S4i reinforces BIC Araba’s role as a driving force for innovation, supporting startups in their visibility, growth, and connection to strategic opportunities.
We continue working to bring science closer to the market and turn ideas into high value-added business projects.
