One Step Further — Leading with Others. Leadership strategies and skills for open innovation and collaboration

Workshop purpose:

In a world where startups need to integrate into networks, alliances, and ecosystems in order to scale, this workshop offers a practical and hands-on space to learn how to collaborate without friction, even with large, slow-moving, or culturally very different organizations.

The goal is to provide technical profiles with strategic and leadership tools that enable them to:

• Design sustainable, high-value collaboration models for their startup.

• Update their “mental map” of open innovation.

• Lead cross-functional processes with purpose and train to navigate complexity.

• Identify opportunities, tensions, and bottlenecks, working with real cases from participants.

We combine open innovation methods (3 Dimensions, Connect–Think–Do, management of asymmetric collaborations) with experiential leadership dynamics focused on purpose and boundary management.

This workshop is designed for:

• Startups that need to build high-value alliances with corporates or ecosystem players.

• CEOs and product leaders who act as a bridge between internal teams and external partners.

• Professionals with an exploratory mindset, looking to unlock relational knots and expand opportunities.

• Organizations whose innovation is inherently open and that need to strengthen strategic, organizational, and human capabilities to collaborate with impact.

General experience overview (4 hours):

A hands-on lab where you work on your own real case to understand how strong collaborations are built and what kind of leadership is required to sustain them.

The session includes:

• Reconnecting with the purpose of your project to align collaboration with strategy.

• Exploring the open innovation mental map adapted to your case.

• Using the Collaboration Canvas to analyze your current network, strengths, and blind spots.

• Experiential dynamics to explore boundaries, roles, tensions, and information flows among partners.

• Collective conversations and learnings that activate clarity, shared vision, and new possibilities for action.
