The city of Vitoria-Gasteiz once again became the epicentre of design and technology with the celebration of the third edition of the Basquerville festival, held on October 9, 10 and 11, 2025 at the IAK Antzokia venue.

An innovation environment at the service of creativity

Promoted by Araba Enpresa Digitala, the festival has been consolidated as a “meeting point where technology, graphic design, visual communication, innovation, art and collaborative processes converge.”
Over three intense days, professionals and enthusiasts from the sector enjoyed top-level conferences, specialised workshops, networking spaces, and activities focused both on reflection and practical application.

Outstanding programme and international voices

The 2025 edition featured national and international speakers of great prestige, including Vera van de Seyp, Studio Dumbar/Dept®, Eva Sánchez, Domestic Data Streamers and Itziar Garaluce.
In addition, special attention was given to local talent —such as Arrate García-Ardanaz, Ainara Urquijo and Nerea Beunza—, strengthening Araba’s creative ecosystem.

Atmosphere, community and results

The festival atmosphere was described as dynamic, with an approach that not only showcases “future trends” but also creates real spaces for collaboration between design, technology and business.

For Araba’s entrepreneurship and technology network, this type of initiative represents a key driver to connect talent with industry and open up new horizons of innovation.
